FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much do you charge for translation?
Price quotes would depend on the following factors: language pair required (rates vary for certain languages / language pairs), type of document (general, technical or highly technical), turnaround time required, project volume (discount will be provided for projects that are more than 10,000 words).

What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround time normally takes 3-20 days depending on the volume. We also accept one day (24 hour-turnaround time) rush translation with a 50% surcharge. However, the availability of the translator is also considered before we accept any project.

After learning about your rates, how do we start a project?
After the rates and turnaround time have been agreed upon, we will send you a project agreement form detailing the cost, delivery date, payment terms and other conditions. The agreement must be emailed back to us with your signature for confirmation. There is also a 50% downpayment required to begin the project.

Who are your translators?
All of our translators are native speakers of your target language. Since we believe in language localization, we carefully assign projects to highly experienced and professional translators based on the subject and language pair required.

How do you deliver the translated materials?
We send the translated materials by email or through www.yousendit.com for large files.

Do you provide certification for the translation?
A notarized certificate indicating the name of the translated file and the translation service provider (Language Match) with the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) business accreditation number may be provided upon request. The cost of notarization and mailing will be added to the translation charges.

How do we pay for the translated materials?
Balance of the translation fee may be paid via Paypal, Western Union or bank transfer. For local clients, cash or cheque payment as well as direct bank deposit (through Bank of the Philippine Islands) is accepted. Translation fees should be settled within 3 days upon submission of document. Local and regular clients may enjoy a more flexible payment schedule depending on the agreement made.
